At Chalmers Community Services Centre (CCSC), we offer a warm and respectful place where our guests can receive food, choose clothing and enjoy company and conversation. In addition, such items and services as diapers, household items, mending, personal support and referral to
community resources are available. All of this is offered free of charge and in an environment of dignity and respect.

CCSC is currently in need of an Executive Director who is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization consistent with the Vision, Mission, Values and the strategic directions set by the Board. The Executive Director has the authority and responsibility to directly manage the organization and reports to the Board of Directors. While the scope of this part-time contract position is broad and encompasses responsibility for operational matters identified in the job description, specific responsibilities will be prioritized by time availability and circumstances. In particular, the Executive Director’s role in fundraising/financial planning and management has been identified as a top priority.

This is a part-time position consisting of 20 hours per week.
 Typically, the hours of work are daytime hours; however, there will be times when evening hours will be required.
